Originally from Mexico, David studied violin at the Universidad Veracruzana as a student of Mikhail Medvid. He studied chamber music, violin and symphonic repertoire with teachers Timothy McKeown, Rafael Palacios, Emmanuel Arias and Fernando Ávila. Subsequently, he studied baroque violin at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, in Barcelona, ​​under the guidance of Manfredo Kraemer.

In the field of early music, he has supplemented his training in Mexico, France and Italy, where he has collaborated with groups such as the Jeune Orchester Atlantique and the Academia Montis Regalis, working with musicians such as Amandine Beyer, Olivia Centurioni, Philippe Herreweghe, Pedro Memelsdorff , Alessandro Moccia, Emilio Moreno, Enrico Onofri and Susanne Scholz, among others. He has also been invited to collaborate with the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, in Venice, and with The Harvard Center for Italian Renaissance Studies, in Florence, and has participated in various productions and recordings with Le Concert des Nations under the direction of Jordi Savall. He is co-founder of the ensemble The Ministers of Pastime in Barcelona and a member of Ensemble Galante, in his hometown.

As a modern violin player, she was a member of the Tamayo string quartet and during his years as a student he participated in various courses and festivals in Mexico, Europe and South America. In 2006 he was a finalist in the National Violin Competition ‘Hermilo Novelo’ in Mexico City and since 2007, he has been a member of the Xalapa Symphony Orchestra, with which he has performed as a soloist on three occasions.
